"Fair price for a easy trip"
I booked a flight from Auckland to Queenstown and, based on this trip, it seems like you can get a decent deal if the timing and fare line up. The price felt fair for what was included, and adding bags was straightforward. The seat options were clear too, not one of those situations where everything suddenly feels like an extra charge.
The flight left on time, the staff were friendly, and overall I didn’t feel like I’d been overcharged. If this is how they usually run things on this route, I’d be happy to book with them again

I mostly pay attention to the cost when I’m booking anything, and in this case the prices were clear from the start. No surprise fees popped up later, which I really appreciated.

"Really solid premium cabin experience"
Flew Air New Zealand in premium cabin recently. good. The seat was comfortable, which was the main thing I cared about. Food was decent too, nothing amazing, but definitely fine for a flight. Crew were friendly in a normal way, not too much, just easy and helpful. Boarding was the only bit that felt a little all over the place. People standing around, not super clear. But once we were on, everything was smooth. I’d be happy to fly it again.

I had an old travel credit sitting around and finally used it on airnewzealand.co.nz. It did go through in the end, but honestly... finding where to apply it wasn’t as clear as I expected. Got there eventually, just took a bit longer than it probably should have.

I was able to change my flight without too much trouble, so I’ll give them credit for that. But the fees felt a bit high for what seemed like a simple change. I understand airlines need policies, but it would feel fairer if there were a little more flexibility. Overall, not a bad experience, just not as customer-friendly as I’d hoped.

"Payment was easy, no fuss"
I booked my flight through airnewzealand.co.nz and the payment bit was a lot easier than I was expecting. I always get a little tense when I’m putting my card details in for flights, like waiting for some random error or the page to freeze at the worst moment, but nope, it just went through on the first try. Used my card, clicked through, and that was pretty much it. The confirmation email showed up almost right away too, which was reassuring. Simple, quick, no drama, can’t really complain.

I booked through airnewzealand.co.nz and, to be fair, I did feel safe enough flying with Air New Zealand. The booking process was mostly fine, and I eventually found the main details I needed before my trip.
What bothered me was that some of the safety and travel info wasn’t as clear or easy to find as I expected. It kind of made me feel misled, like everything would be straightforward, but then I had to dig around more than I should have. I’d still fly with them again, but the website could definitely be more upfront and organized.

I had wifi on the flight, but it was hit or miss. It kept slowing down or cutting out, though maybe that’s just what I should expect in the air? It was fine for sending a few messages, but I wouldn’t count on it for much more than that.

I kept running into pages freezing, which got annoying after a while. Compared to other sites that load smoothly and let you get things done quickly, this one felt like it was fighting me the whole time...
"Actually really good inflight food"
Flew from Auckland to Singapore last week and I was kind of surprised by how good the meal was, because I was expecting the usual dry plane food but the chicken with rice came out hot, the portion was decent, and it actually tasted like someone had thought about it a bit.
The bread roll was soft, the little dessert was nicer than I expected, and drinks came around a couple of times without the crew making everything feel rushed or like you had to decide in half a second.
Obviously I’m not saying it was restaurant food, but for a long flight it really did the job, I was full and happy, and I’d easily give it 5 stars.

Our flight ended up getting changed, and I got a little distrustful after the payment went through because I wasn’t sure how responsive they’d be. But they actually came through quickly with updates and sorted out the hotel without much hassle.

Flew with Air New Zealand recently, and overall the cabin crew were professional. They welcomed everyone nicely during boarding and kept things moving without much stress. Smooth.
Once we were in the air, though, the service felt a bit rushed. I asked one crew member a question and they weren’t rude or anything, just kind of brief and not especially engaged. Hmm.
So yeah, it was totally fine as a flight, but I did expect the crew experience to feel a bit more consistent from start to finish. Decent...

"Super easy check-in, just like I hoped"
I checked in online for my flight it was really smooth. The boarding pass came through right away, and dropping my bag at the airport was simple too. I always get a little nervous before flying because my family trips can be hectic, but this time there was no stress at all.

There weren’t a ton of routes that worked well for me, and the connections were kind of awkward with not many direct options. That said, the ones I did find were fine, so it wasn’t a bad experience overall.
